I would gladly recommend Joe Martin and his septic & excavating service.
He put a new septic system in for us a couple of years ago but it wasn’t as straight forward as we first presumed. What would have been a logical, easy place to put it – in the front yard, turned out not to be suitable thanks to an endless underground ledge.
It became an upsetting engineering venture that would have required cutting down our best trees, raising the yard itself, and aesthetically ruining the appearance of our home.
Joe spent a lot of time exploring other options with us until we worked out a plan that was actually scary! We did have a little more land, but over a steep cliff/ledge into dense forest. Inaccessible. To use it, Joe had to build a winding road into the ravine behind our house, and maneuver his equipment down through very steep and rough territory.
He did this however with amazing patience and experience and saved our yard and trees in the process.
Most experts, I’m certain would have said, “That’s not possible.” And we would have believed them. I think Joe saved the looks of our home because he is willing to think out of the box. We’re very happy with the results, and will remember his hard and incredible efforts.
